The ideal candidate is experienced with CNC machining centers, capable of operating CNC lathes, has a solid understanding of Fanuc controls, and is proficient in operating manual machining equipment. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a team-oriented attitude to ensure high-quality, efficient production in a collaborative shop environment.Essential Job Duties & Primary Responsibilities, but not limited to:● Set up, and operate CNC Lathe to produce precision parts per specifications.● Select proper tooling and fixtures, perform tool offsets and adjustments for optimal performance.● Inspect finished parts to maintain quality standards.● Maintain machines and work areas, performing basic preventive maintenance and reporting issues promptly.● Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and improve workflow.● Contribute to a positive, team-driven environment, promoting communication and problem-solving across shifts and departments.Required Skills & Qualifications:● Minimum 2-4 years of CNC operating CNC Lathes.● Proficient in G-Code● Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, fixtures and tooling.● Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.● Proficiency using measurement instruments, including, but not limited to micrometers and calipers.● Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.● Ability to work independently or as part of a team.● Good communication and problem-solving skills.Preferred Skills (Non-essential)● Ability to write and edit CNC programs, preferably CAD CAM● Solid understanding of and experience with Fanuc controls● Manual machining experience● Forklift and hoist operation and general shop safety training.Education● High school diploma or equivalent
