Armed Security Professional

Join our team as an Armed Security Professional, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment. Your primary responsibilities will include verifying IDs for age, ensuring the safety and well-being of guests, and managing any disruptive behavior. As the first line of defense for our facility, your vigilance and professionalism are essential. Key Responsibilities: Perform ID checks and ensure compliance with age restrictions. Screen patrons for weapons and illegal substances through pat-downs. Document incidents thoroughly, detailing who, what, why, when, and how, sending reports via email at the end of each shift. Immediately report any use of force to the Director of Security and via email at shift's end. Conduct regular walkthroughs of the premises, including restrooms, outdoor exit areas, and parking lots. Enforce designated smoking/vaping areas. Collaborate with team members to maintain overall safety and security. Monitor coworker activity for safety and provide assistance when needed. Handle three specific roles: ID checks, patron screening, and premises monitoring. Qualifications and Skills: Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours). Capacity to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. Basic computer proficiency. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. AZ DPS Armed Guard card/certification is required. Prior experience in security is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification are necessary. Annual continuing education and training in security practices are required. The expected work hours are scheduled primarily between 7 PM and 3 AM, Thursday through Saturday, and 7 PM to 1 AM, Sunday through Wednesday. Timely clocking in and out is essential for each shift.
