Job Title: Process Engineering Professional / Process EngineerLocation: Appleton, WI (Hybrid) Duration: 9 months Travel: Up to 20%Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support conceptual and detailed engineering design work for Pulp & Paper Technology projects. The role requires strong process design expertise, cross-discipline collaboration, and hands-on support during construction and commissioning phases.Key Responsibilities Perform conceptual and detailed process engineering design for pulp and paper facilities. Apply industry best practices to solve complex process engineering challenges. Coordinate with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary engineering teams. Support field construction activities, including submittal reviews, RFIs, and site walk-downs. Conduct quality reviews of engineering designs prepared by others. Mentor junior engineers on process engineering principles and design standards. Assist with proposal development, project budgets, and schedule planning. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Paper Science. Minimum 5+ years of engineering design experience as a plant/facility engineer or consulting engineer. Strong knowledge of pulp and paper process systems. Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications 10+ years of engineering design experience. Experience supporting construction or commissioning activities. Prior experience mentoring junior engineers. Additional Details Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Hybrid role with occasional travel.
