Your Day at Lowe's As a Customer Service Associate, you will greet customers, assist them in finding the right products for their home improvement needs, and ensure that all inquiries are addressed. Expect to actively engage with customers, help with product selection, and occasionally assist in loading merchandise. While your primary focus will be on providing outstanding customer service, daily tasks may vary by department, including Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, and more. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers warmly, answer their questions, and provide friendly, professional service. Assist customers in locating and handling products. Restock merchandise by identifying empty shelf spaces and replenishing products. Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure timely customer satisfaction. Cross-train in various store areas to enhance overall customer service. Prepare merchandise, tailored to customer needs, such as mixing paint or cutting materials. Guide customers through the shopping experience and checkout process. Complete other assigned tasks as needed. Minimum Qualifications 6 months of experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying information). 6 months of experience with retail technology (smartphones, tablets). Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction). Able to engage in physical activities including standing, sitting, and lifting. Capable of lifting 25lbs unassisted or up to 75lbs with assistance. Preferred Qualifications 6 months of customer service and/or retail experience. Bi-lingual skills are a plus. Certification in a trade relevant to the department (hardware, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
