Automotive Alignment Specialist

Job Description As an Automotive Alignment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customers' vehicles are equipped with perfectly aligned tires and wheels. Your primary responsibility involves operating alignment equipment safely to deliver accurate adjustments. While you will not replace alignment parts, you will adjust them as needed and promptly report any defective components or unusual wear to your supervisor to keep our customers informed. This position also requires you to fulfill Tire Technician responsibilities, which include tire dismounting, mounting, handling of take-off tires, and balancing. In this role, you will drive customers' vehicles onto the alignment machine and secure them properly before performing the alignment process. After completing the alignment, you will re-secure all components and safely back the vehicle off the machine. Requirements Job Qualifications: Prior experience with tire equipment and tools is a plus Valid Driver's License is required Education Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent Essential Job Functions: Ensure vehicles are securely attached to the lift/alignment machine for safe operation Accurately align vehicles according to company standards Safely dismount and remount tires and wheels on vehicles Handle tires and wheels without causing damage Use all related tools and equipment as trained Work independently and as part of a team Exceed customer service expectations Adhere to safety protocols Maintain strong customer relations Support company goals and philosophy Non-Essential Job Functions: Assist in maintaining inventory control Handle necessary paperwork accurately Maintain a clean work environment daily Safety Requirements: Follow all safety procedures outlined in the Employee Safety Manual Learn and practice proper lifting techniques Keep the workplace tidy and report any incidents immediately to your supervisor Weight Requirements: Lift a minimum of 45 pounds Perform repetitive movements consistent with industry standards Other Duties/Responsibilities: Be open to taking on additional responsibilities as they arise.
