Acute Care Nurse Practitioner - Gastroenterology (GI) - TMC Job CategoryProfessional ScheduleFull time Shift1 - Day Shift Tucson Medical Center is currently recruiting for an acute care nurse practitioner with a background in gastroenterology preferred. A qualified candidate will have their ACNP certification. This will be an inpatient role, working with our GI Hospitalists as well as our experienced GI team of ACNPs, nurses, and technicians.  Salary Range: $125k-$155k depending on experience.   We Offer: Excellent compensation package  Robust benefit options Paid relocation, sign-on bonus, CME, and Malpractice Low cost of living in a highly desirable area of Arizona Arts, culture, fine dining, high-end shopping...all the amenities MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: ACNP certification (acute care) is required for this role.  EXPERIENCE:  1 year of acute care experience preferred but not required!  LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION:  National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or must be National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner eligible, mustbecome credentialed at TMC through the Professional Staffing Office prior to appointment. Must have and maintain a current Arizona state license as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner including prescriptive authority. Must obtain and maintain a current Federal Drug Enforcement Agency License for prescribing controlled substances. Must obtain and maintain current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); for Mental Health only Crisis Prevention Instruction (CPI) required.
