Certified Surgical Technician – Evening Shift (Full-Time/PRN) Location: Within 100-mile radius CareerNation is seeking an experienced OR Certified Surgical Technician for evening shifts in a fast-paced surgical environment. This position requires a certified surgical tech with orthopedic and DaVinci experience, travel flexibility, and the ability to support a variety of surgical procedures including weekends, call, and holidays. Position Overview: The OR Certified Surgical Tech plays a critical role in maintaining a sterile surgical environment, ensuring equipment functions properly, and assisting surgeons during procedures. The ideal candidate will have prior travel experience, orthopedic knowledge, scrubbing expertise, and may be asked to precept new staff. Assignment Details: Shift: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM (evenings) Weekend, call, and holiday coverage required Must be able to arrive within 30 minutes of call-in Work within a 100-mile radius Qualifications: Must be a Certified Surgical Technician Completion of a Certified Surgical Tech program preferred or current New York State LPN license eligible Must have prior travel experience Orthopedic experience required Scrubbing experience required DaVinci surgical system experience required Approved pharmacology course or prior medication experience with successful achievement on medication exam Knowledge of cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of surgical equipment Current BLS certification Continuing education requirements of 15 CEUs per year Ability to function under RN supervision and assist in patient care and surgical preparation Key Responsibilities: Maintain a sterile surgical environment and ensure proper functioning of all surgical equipment Assist surgeons during procedures efficiently and safely Perform technical duties related to scrub personnel and departmental tasks as assigned May precept and train new surgical tech staff Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply to learn more about this opportunity.
