Job Title Sr Software Engineer Associate Functional Title Systems Engineer III Contract position State Location Lackland Air Force Base - TX - Lackland AFB, TX US (Primary) Education Bachelor's Level Degree Job Type Full-time Job Description Quantech Services is seeking a full-time Software Engineer III located at Lackland AFB-San Antonio, TX supporting the Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (AFLCMC/HNC) Responsibilities Include: Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions. Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code. Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming. Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures. Obtain and license software by obtaining required information from vendors, recommending purchases, testing, and approving products. Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues. Accomplish engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes, investigating problem areas, and following the software development life cycle. Plan and/or implement agile acquisition/software development techniques. Plan and/or implement DevOps processes and techniques for Cloud and non-cloud applications. Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications Must be a U.S. Citizen Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience 10+ years of experience creating, debugging, patching, and maintaining software and/or applications Knowledgeable in multiple programming languages including Python, Java, JavaScript, and C languages Ability to integrate with other organizations/teams Ability to develop a highly effective working relationship with the customer Experience working and incorporating Agile Scrum development methodology Work is onsite We hire Military! Salary information below is a general guide only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as business and market considerations. Salary Range: $110,000-$125,000 Security clearance required TOPSEC Travel 0 - 10%
