Remote Purchasing Manager

Remote Purchasing Manager House Buyers of America is seeking a skilled Purchasing Manager to join our dynamic team. In this fully remote position, you will play a pivotal role in bidding, managing, and negotiating all contracts for our home renovations. Your expertise will be essential in overseeing our purchasing operations, developing comprehensive scopes of work, and fostering relationships with contractors and vendors. Your Responsibilities: Manage and bid out all contracts, handle invoice submissions, track project budgets, and collaborate with Field Managers to ensure work is completed as per contract specifications. Negotiate favorable pricing (aligning with national production builder standards) while sourcing innovative products to enhance cost efficiency and improve the quality and aesthetic appeal of our renovations. Work closely with senior management to establish specification levels. Develop detailed scopes of work and budgets tailored for each renovation project. Oversee the management, training, and termination of General contractors and subcontractors as necessary. Proactively recruit new contractors and build vendor relationships through networking and outreach. Ensure all contractors are properly registered before initiating projects. Your Qualifications: 5+ years of purchasing experience with a leading home builder or remodeling company. Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
