About The Role As a key advisor for a diverse portfolio of Corporate Banking clients, you will play a pivotal role in forging new business relationships while nurturing and maintaining vital revenue-generating client connections. This position requires an astute assessment of both client and bank perspectives to identify cross-selling opportunities and craft comprehensive client relationship strategies. What You'll Do: Consistently achieve and surpass established production goals and qualitative performance standards. Lead the sales and service of financial solutions to Corporate Banking clients and prospects while adhering to loan quality guidelines and approval protocols. Utilize strong marketing, presentation, and relationship-building skills to expand existing client networks and aggressively pursue new client opportunities. Coordinate with Risk Officers, Treasury Management Officers, Client Service Officers, and Product Specialists to ensure a holistic approach to meet client needs. Make informed recommendations regarding overdrafts, wires, pricing, and loan structuring within your authority limits. Negotiate loan terms with clients based on risk assessment, market conditions, loan profitability, and client relationship dynamics. Independently manage the review of new and renewal loan requests, participating in underwriting processes while adhering to the Bank's credit policies. Maintain a high-quality loan portfolio by monitoring past due loans and identifying risks; ensure compliance with loan agreements and reporting requirements. Qualifications 8-10 years of experience in commercial lending. Preferred candidates will have formal credit training from a national or large regional bank. Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and credit analysis. Demonstrated capability to cultivate and expand client relationships in a dynamic environment. Exceptional communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools. Education Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field. Consideration may be given to equivalent education and relevant professional experience in lieu of a formal degree.
