Strong familiarity with computers and software is ideal. Attention to detail and ability to work well with others is a must.ResponsibilitiesHelp manage accounting operations including, A/R, A/P, GLHelp the comptroller prepare and publish timely monthly financial statementsResearch accounting issuesCarry out month-end and year-end close processData entry into Quickbooks OnlineWeekly client meetingsClient Quickbook file managementEnsure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Research accounting issuesAdditional bookkeeper duties as necessaryBill PayingSkills:· Working experience in the accounting field.· Knowledge of accounting and finance experience.· Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.· Experience with creating financial statements.· Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.· Excellent accounting software user and administration skills· Good computer and technology skills - ability to learn new softwarePeachtree/Sage experience is a plusQuickbooks experience is a mustBackground screening required before hire.Schedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWork Location:Williamsburg VirginiaJob Type: Full TimeSalary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourPhysical setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: One locationI acknowledge that each independent Premier Rental Purchase franchisee hires and determines the terms and conditions of employment for its own employees.
