The team has a growth mindset fueled by a strong culture of collaboration that unifies its global teams across India, USA, South Africa (a proud Level 2 B-BBEE Contributor), and UK.We are looking for a detail-oriented and user-centric UX Researcher with strong experience in eCommerce and Retail Operations and working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing user behavior, and translating insights into actionable recommendations to improve digital commerce experiences and retail operational workflows. This role will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Designers, and Engineering teams to enhance customer journeys and backend operational systems.Location- Houston, TX ( Hybrid )Key ResponsibilitiesUser Research & InsightsPlan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research (interviews, surveys, usability testing, contextual inquiry).Analyze user behavior across eCommerce platforms and retail systems.Develop user personas, journey maps, empathy maps, and experience blueprints.Identify usability gaps in digital storefronts and operational systems.eCommerce & Retail Experience OptimizationEvaluate customer journeys across web and mobile commerce platforms.Improve checkout flow, product discovery, and conversion funnel.Conduct A/B testing research and usability validation.Provide insights to enhance omnichannel retail experiences.D365 (Microsoft Dynamics 365) ExposureUnderstand retail and supply chain workflows within D365.Research user pain points in D365-based modules such as:Finance & OperationsSupply Chain ManagementRetail / CommerceCollaborate with functional teams to improve system usability and process efficiency.Collaboration & Stakeholder EngagementWork closely with Business Analysts to translate research into requirements.Support UX/UI designers with research-backed wireframe validation.Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.Facilitate workshops and design thinking sessions.Data & Performance AnalysisUse analytics tools (GA4, Hotjar, Power BI, etc.) to interpret user behavior.Monitor KPIs such as:Conversion rateCart abandonmentUser engagementOperational efficiency metricsProvide actionable insights to improve business performance.Required Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s/Master’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Business, or related field.3–6+ years of UX research experience.Strong background in eCommerce and/or Retail Operations.Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) modules.Experience with research tools (UserTesting, Maze, Hotjar, GA4, etc.).Strong documentation and presentation skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Preferred QualificationsExperience in omnichannel retail or ERP-integrated commerce platforms.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience working with global or US clients.Understanding of retail supply chain processes.Flexible work from home options available.
