Job Title: Process Improvement Facilitator Location: Elkhart, IN (Candidates near La Porte, IN; Byron Center, MI; or Coal City/Rock Falls, IL may be considered) Client: Our client is located in Elkhart, IN Department: Finance Reports To: Chief Human Resources Officer Job Status: Exempt Salary: $80,000 $85,000 annually Overview The Process Improvement Facilitator leads initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall business performance. This role partners across departments to identify opportunities, implement best practices, and ensure sustainable change through continuous improvement methodologies. Key Responsibilities Facilitation & Leadership Lead cross-functional teams in process improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies. Facilitate workshops, brainstorming sessions, and Kaizen events to drive engagement and innovation. Analysis & Assessment Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities. Collect and interpret data to support decision-making and measure project outcomes. Project Management Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables for improvement initiatives. Monitor progress to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and with measurable results. Training & Coaching Educate employees on continuous improvement principles and tools. Mentor team members to build internal capability for process improvement. Reporting & Documentation Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and results to stakeholders. Maintain documentation of process changes and improvement activities. Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Experience: 3+ years in process improvement, operations, or related roles. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies (certification preferred). Required Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent facilitation and workshop leadership skills. Effective communication and stakeholder management. Proficiency with data analysis tools and project management software. Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen). Familiarity with RASI/RASIC charts. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change initiatives. Preferred Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Project Management Professional (PMP)
