Job Title: Calibration TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Calibration Technician with a strong technical background to join our team. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing instruments and systems returned for service and repair, typically in areas such as service support and metrology.Responsibilities Perform calibrations with various primary standards and M&TE per prescribed work instructions. Prepare required documentation and maintain associated records. Convey data and trends on product calibrations to appropriate personnel or departments to ensure customer satisfaction. Escalate unusual product issues to the appropriate department. Maintain all standards and M7TE. In a service center setting, analyze, troubleshoot, make repairs, resolve technical problems, and perform maintenance services on measurement equipment or components returned by customers. Essential Skills Troubleshooting Electronics Electrical Calibration Soldering Repair Instrumentation Mechanically inclined Additional Skills & Qualifications Associate's degree in Science with a focus in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent work experience, OR a BS in Physics, Electrical Engineering or another technical degree. Troubleshooting experience from school or hands-on work. Understanding of basic metrology concepts is preferred. Good written and verbal communication skills. Able to routinely lift up to 50 lbs. Good attitude, meticulous, and able to work well in a team setting. Good work ethic and willingness to learn and succeed. Experience troubleshooting electronic test equipment is preferred. Six months of experience using automated test systems. Experience with thermal imaging, infrared devices, acoustic imaging devices, and pressure devices. ISO knowledge. Work EnvironmentThis position is for the 1st shift at the 75th Street lab, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pmJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, WA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
