The Advanced Process Engineer will contribute to the innovative efforts by optimizing manufacturing processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.Job Title: Advanced Process EngineerLocation: Camarillo, CAPay Range: $85,000-$120,000What's the Job? Analyze product and equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine designs that can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods. Determine the feasibility of designing new plant equipment or modifying existing facilities considering costs, available space, time limitations, company planning, and other technical and economic factors. Provide technical information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties, and process advantages and limitations which affect long-range plant and product engineering planning. Confer with research personnel to clarify or resolve problems and develops design. Prepare or direct preparation of product or system layout and detailed drawings and schematics using 2-D and 3-D CAD software. Design products and systems to interface machines, hardware, and software. Direct and coordinates fabrication and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications. What's Needed? Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering. A minimum of 4 years of working experience in a similar position. Proficiency in 2-D and 3-D CAD software with experience preparing detailed layouts, schematics, and system designs that integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components.Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment design, and process engineering principles. Demonstrated experience developing, designing, validating, and optimizing manufacturing equipment and processes, including feasibility analysis for new equipment or facility modifications. Proven ability to analyze equipment performance, resolve complex manufacturing issues, collaborate cross-functionally with R&D and production teams, and implement process improvements that enhance reliability, efficiency, and product quality.
