It offers the widest range of helicopter turboshafts in the world and has more than 2,500 customers in 155 countries.Reference number2026-173063Job detailsDomainPrograms / Customer RelationsJob field / Job profileCustomer services and support - Supportability engineeringJob titleService EngineerEmployment typePermanentProfessional categoryProfessional, Engineer & ManagerPart time / Full timeFull-timeJob descriptionProvides Technical Support to Field Representatives & Customers for Safran HE engines in service – Maintainsvisibility on Performance & Reliability of Safran HE engines in service.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Deliver expert-level technical support to Field Representatives and customers through phone consultations,email correspondence, and on-site engagements, ensuring timely resolution of complex issues.• Draft, validate, and authorize technical agreements under design office delegation, aligning with regulatorystandards and engineering best practices.• Lead root cause investigations for in-service incidents, producing comprehensive analytical reports thatinform corrective actions and enhance operational safety.• Drive continuous improvement in engine maintainability, initiating updates to maintenance procedures thatoptimize performance and reduce downtime.• Analyze Health Monitoring data and engine parameters to troubleshoot engine fault codes/issues in-serviceand/or provide maintenance recommendations as required.• Perform advanced data analysis on engine removals and reliability metrics to identify systemic trends,propose actionable solutions and support fleet-wide reliability enhancements.• Ensure product safety, reliability and improvement through the above-mentioned activities.• Must have proficiency in written and spoken English• Domestic and International Travel Required: 10%Scopes and Accountabilities:Defines project objects and develops procedures, identifies problems, and recommends solutions, requestsexpenditure. Has authority to act at his own discretion, with short-term review by the Director of EngineeringSupport. Divulging of confidential and/or sensitive information could lead to damage to the reputation and/orcompetitive posture of the corporation.Candidate skills & requirementsEducation / Knowledge / Skills and Abilities:• Bachelor's degree in aerospace/mechanical engineering as a minimum, master's degree preferred.• A&P Mechanic preferred or experience in the field of Aeronautical Maintenance.• Good working knowledge in Gas Turbine Engines and/or Helicopter Systems.• Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.• Ability to work in a multi-project and cultural environment.• Confident to present in front of an audience or customers.• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)• Will be exposed to written or spoken French – familiarity with the French language preferred.Physical Requirements:• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.• The employee is frequently required to stand.• The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.Annual salaryTBDJob locationJob locationNorth America, United States, TexasCity (-ies)Grand PrairieApplicant criteriaMinimum education level achievedBachelor's DegreeMinimum experience level requiredMore than 3 yearsITAR Controlled Position: Select "Yes" if role requires U.S. citizenship/permanent residencyYes
