Santa Clara, CA Order: 1701854 Order Type : DirectHire Job Title: Engineering Manager Location: Santa Clara, CA Pay: $165k-$190k + About the job: The Engineering Manager leads the engineering and quality functions at the site, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, customer requirements, and internal performance goals. + We're looking for someone who: Holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or a related field Has 3+ years of experience in anodizing or plating (preferred) Demonstrates strong knowledge of quality systems and engineering practices Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing Brings leadership experience in supervising technical staff Is familiar with Six Sigma/DMAIC methodologies Has strong organizational and analytical skills Understands CA labor laws around breaks and meal periods + What you'll do: Maintain site ISO 9001 certification and manage all audit activities Act as the point of contact for customer quality and technical issues Oversee corrective actions, MRBs, CARs, and customer complaints Develop and implement procedures for engineering and quality teams Review customer-supplied drawings and resolve discrepancies Manage vendor processing instructions and ensure compliance Monitor and improve traceability, inspection, and documentation systems Define inspection standards using statistical analysis Prepare performance reports and present findings to stakeholders Lead staff development, training, and performance management
