Financial Modeling/ Deal Execution Support Analyst

The Analyst will provide on-site research support to our client located in Raleigh. The Analyst will be an extension of the client's team and will be responsible for creating/maintaining detailed financial models and structuring work products based on pitch / deal requirement in consultation with bankers. Responsibilites: Auditing, reviewing, and updating comprehensive financial models including historical and projections Analyzing the business model of the company, and accordingly narrow down on the revenue and cost drivers Reconcile output from audited numbers and highlight discrepancies Applying appropriate valuation methodology for deriving the valuation of the company/deal Handling ad-hoc requests as per client requirements Support in creating Confidential Information Memorandum and Detailed Company presentation including company overview, investment highlights, financial summary, competitive analysis Conduct an in-depth company and industry analysis Work on company/M&A screening, comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis Prepare pitch books, industry overview, detailed company profiles, management biographies, evolution of industry/peers' valuation multiples, potential buyer/seller opportunities Supporting Associates and Bankers on live deals, delivering error free projects, maintaining efficiency and client communications Requirements: Strong knowledge of accounting, financial statement analysis, and ratios Good understanding of valuation techniques and excel functions Good MS Office skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of VBA, Excel Macros will be an added advantage Related work or strong internship experience MBA(Finance), CPA, CFA, Master of Accounting or Bachelor with major in Finance and Accounting Relevant experience of 0-2 Years (Technology, Media and Telecom sector preferred)
