Description Conduct assessments across pediatric, adult, and senior demographics utilizing standardized evaluation tools and observations. Create individualized treatment approaches targeting immediate goals alongside lasting communication, cognitive skills, or swallowing needs. Deliver targeted speech therapy interventions emphasizing language, voice, fluency, and swallowing. Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members, to ensure comprehensive care planning. Provide educational resources to patients and their families for continued progress beyond therapy sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy sessions, maintaining a seamless continuum of care throughout rehabilitation journeys. Uphold meticulous documentation in alignment with state, federal, and institutional requirements. Commit to ongoing education and peer collaboration to remain at the forefront of the field. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized university. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. Skills Expertise in evidence-based therapy practices across all ages, with a profound understanding of both developmental and acquired speech disorders. Outstanding communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Adept at customizing therapy techniques to suit varied cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
