Title Reconciliation Specialist

Overview Lakeview Loan Servicing is looking for a Title Reconciliation Specialist to help ensure everything lines up at closing-from prepaid taxes and insurance to title and recording fees. You'll handle reconciliation tasks, verify final charges, issue post-closing disclosures, and work closely with title companies to resolve any discrepancies. This is a fully remote position. However, candidates local to our Horsham, PA office have the option to work a hybrid schedule if they'd like. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of $24.00 to $26.00, an annual bonus, medical benefits starting on day one, and a company-matched 401(k). ResponsibilitiesManage and respond to inquiries in the Escrow Title Reconciliation Inbox Manage and process inquiries in the Post Consummation Closing Disclosure Request Inbox Verify actual charges on the Recorded Mortgage/Deed of Trust Verify actual charges on the Final Title policies Obtain and upload updated Final American Land Title Association Statements, Disbursement Ledgers, and refunds issued to the borrower by the title company Issue Post Consummation Closing Disclosures when applicable Provide feedback to management on the vendor process pertaining to identifying the actual charges for recording fees and title policy Other duties as needed or required by management Qualifications3+ years' experience in residential mortgage operations Prior experience working for a title company or experience working as a mortgage document custodian is a strong plus Knowledge and recognition of residential mortgage loan documentation for Conventional, Federal Housing Administration, Veterans Administration, and U.S. Department of Agriculture loans is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and organization skills Strong attention to detail Lakeview is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
