Housekeeper - Sterling Heights

As a Housekeeper you will be part of our team whose liveliness, imagination and communication are valued and rewarded. Housekeeper Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Dusting, cleaning, vacuuming, and mopping of equipment, patient rooms, general areas Process & transport laundry & linen throughout the Facility Launder, press, fold, deliver & store clothes & other items Maintain a clean & safe work environment in compliance with State & Federal laws & regulations. Follow Facility policies & procedures Attend required staff in-services Other duties as assigned. Requirements: Ability to think and work independently and with direction and communicate with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment. High School graduate or equivalent. Current identification. Excellent personal hygiene. Experience: Prior experience in long term care is preferred. Prior experience in long term care environment is preferred Prior experience with Isolation / Infection control is preferred
