Required field. Our client is an organization in the Waukesha County area that's looking for a Controller. This company is looking for someone with 8+ years of experience, motivated, and an excellent leader. This company provides high visibility, flexibility, and a collaborative, tenured team. This position is hybrid. The salary for this job is $120K - $140K. The Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: RESPONSIBILITIES Lead, mentor, and manage the Accounting team, fostering accountability and professional development. Oversee accounting operations, including credit and collections, payroll, treasury, and employee benefits. Maintain financial integrity through robust policies, procedures, internal controls, and asset protection. Manage monthly close, financial reporting, and collaboration with FP&A for forecasting, budgeting, and analysis. Oversee external audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance. Optimize General Ledger systems and financial processes to improve efficiency and reporting insight. Provide actionable financial insights to support strategic business decisions. Drive process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounting function. The Controller will possess the following: EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA preferred. 8+ years of related experience. Exceptional Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills. Advanced proficiency with Sage Intacct. Ability to keep up with a fast-paced environment. Strong organization, time management, and communication skills. Highly motivated team-oriented professional.
