Location: Cincinnati, OH (On-site) Department: Operations About the Role / Position Summary The Associate VP, Trading Operations, is responsible for leading the firm's trading functions across all service lines and investment vehicles. This includes day-to-day oversight of trading, model management and ownership of all steps involved in the lifecycle of a non-liquid trade. What You'll Do / Position Responsibilities Trade Operations & Execution Oversee trade execution of the firm, including the coordination with custodians and operations analysts to ensure timely and accurate settlement. Translate portfolio management decisions into executable transactions across the lifecycle of the trades. Oversee daily cash inflow reporting and implement process enhancements so all interested parties receive appropriate information for trading activity. Collaborate with Advisor teams on non-discretionary trading needs. Trade Analytics & Framework Work closely with Portfolio Management and Advisors to implement model portfolios in Black Diamond and oversee the trading activities associated with model changes. Create reports and communicate relevant findings to management on trading activities. Trade Expertise & Mentorship Continued professional development on trading, investment operations and technical platforms. Mentor and train Operations analysts associated with the trading platform. What We Expect / Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline. 8-12+ years of experience in trading, investment operations, or financial-technology platform management. Vast experience with portfolio accounting platforms; knowledge of Black Diamond or Tamarac preferred. Knowledge of alternative investments (private capital and hedge fund structures). Strong understanding of valuation processes, transaction lifecycle, security master data, and portfolio operations. Excellent communication skills and proven ability to partner with Investments, Operations, Compliance, Technology, and client-facing teams.
