Part time Dietary Aide NeededCompensation: TBD upon experience. Employment type: Part time, seeking candidates with open availability including for weekend shifts (available both saturday and sundays with a rotating schedule). Part time is defined as up to 29 hours per week. The Center at Val Vista is a skilled nursing facility that serves patients needing physical rehabilitation and/or complex nursing care. Currently, The Center at Val Vista is looking for a PRN Dietary Aide who is available to work weekends. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare meals for patients according to their dietary specifications Pass food trays Wash dishes Clean the kitchen and dining areas Stock supplies Education: High School diploma or GED Experience and Specific Requirements: Would prefer that applicant have at least 1 year dietary and/or food preparations experience in a skilled care facility Ability to work in a fast paced and sometimes stressful environment while maintaining a calm demeanor Must be able to read and take instructions and follow directions Must be able to work both as a team and independently Must have good communication skills and be able to read, write and speak the English language Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, lift minimum of 15 lbs To learn more about the Center at Val Vista, please view our website at The Center at Val Vista is an EEOC employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status or disability Principals only.
