Dodge Construction Network is seeking a dynamic Senior Account Executive to lead the charge in acquiring new local small and midsize business (SMB) customers within the commercial construction sector. This pivotal role focuses on new business development and revenue generation, helping to expand our footprint in the industry. In this position, you will be responsible for building and managing a robust pipeline of SMB opportunities, guiding prospects through the sales process from initial contact to closing. Location: This position is remote, allowing for flexibility, but candidates must reside in a state where we have a presence. Travel Requirements: Some travel may be required for in-person meetings with prospects. Key Responsibilities: Develop and nurture a pipeline of new SMB prospects, driving the sales process to exceed sales quotas. Identify and pursue sales leads within your designated territory. Gain insights into our specialized products, services, and their application in the market. Engage with key decision-makers to effectively introduce Dodge products and services. Manage ongoing follow-ups and pipeline activities to close new business. Collaborate with senior sales team members to establish valuable contacts and identify new opportunities. Utilize various communication methods, including face-to-face meetings, phone, email, and video conferencing, to connect with prospects. Meet daily key performance indicators for prospecting, follow-ups, and other sales activities. Maintain and update your pipeline in real-time, accurately reflecting deal stages and values. Provide accurate sales forecasts and keep your pipeline organized within our CRM. Prepare and send proposals, and manage contracts using company systems. Education: A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but equivalent work experience will be considered. Experience and Skills Required: A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with a strong background in selling SaaS or technology products. Demonstrated success in high-velocity sales, particularly with SMB clients. Expertise in solution-based selling, with the ability to address client pain points and recommend relevant solutions. Strong objection-handling skills and the ability to navigate gatekeepers effectively. Proficiency in managing multiple sales opportunities concurrently, with a focus on prioritizing and driving progress. Exceptional organizational skills and a disciplined approach to execution. High levels of personal integrity and ownership of results, with a willingness to learn. Outstanding communication abilities, both verbal and written, along with active listening skills. Experience presenting to large groups, including internal stakeholders and clients. Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, and comfortable with technologies and software tools. In-depth understanding of SMB market dynamics to enhance prospecting conversations.
