About the Services Ambassador Team: The Services Ambassador team at Proofpoint is a collaborative group dedicated to sharing successful tactics within the sales community. Our ambassadors play a crucial role in our success by leveraging our cutting-edge technology with a fresh, programmatic approach to customer success. Working closely with Field, Territory, and Enterprise Account Managers, they help increase our global service attach rate. We value their growth and support their career aspirations actively. About the Role: We are looking for a seasoned Cybersecurity Services Ambassador to develop and elevate programs that protect individuals and secure data using our advanced technology solutions globally. This role encompasses leading presales conversations, strategizing, and articulating value propositions for organizations interested in deploying Proofpoint technology solutions. With your extensive knowledge, you will guide customers on integrating people, processes, and technology to accomplish their cybersecurity goals. Your contributions will significantly influence our strategies for expanding market share and tackling complex cybersecurity challenges. Your day-to-day responsibilities: Engage with current and prospective customers through various channels such as in-person meetings, phone calls, and video conferences. Facilitate discussions on service value with both internal teams and customers. Build strong relationships and demonstrate credibility with colleagues and clients, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor on major cybersecurity initiatives. Present in webinars and customer events as needed to showcase our expertise. Provide insightful feedback and experiences to service leadership, influencing service design, go-to-market strategies, and pricing. Become an authority on Email Security, Security Awareness Training, Information Protection, and Cloud Security. What You Bring to The Team: 10+ years of experience in managed services sales or delivery, ideally as an executive or practitioner in Email Threat Protection, Information Protection, or Cloud Security. Outstanding presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written. In-depth knowledge of Cybersecurity, including advanced threats, data protection, cloud security, and incident response. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Self-motivated, capable of working independently and collaboratively. A passion for assisting others in solving their challenges. Ability to lead open, engaging conversations. A proven track record of educating field sales, SEs, and customers effectively. Possession of security certifications like CISSP is a big plus. Compensation Information: We are transparent about our pay structure, which is based on various U.S. geographic markets. Salary may vary depending on experience, skills, and knowledge. Offers may also include variable compensation or equity. Our benefits include flexible time off, wellness and volunteer days, along with a three-week Work from Anywhere policy.
