Our Ambulatory Treatment Center plays a vital role in providing essential treatments and support to our diverse patient population.About the Role:As an Ambulatory Treatment Nurse, you will be a critical member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing direct patient care, administering a wide range of treatments, and educating patients and their families in an outpatient setting. You will work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and a positive treatment experience. Key Responsibilities: Direct Patient Care: Perform comprehensive patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and evaluate patient responses to treatment. Medication Administration: Safely and accurately administer prescribed medications, including intravenous (IV) infusions, injections, and oral medications, adhering to established protocols and policies. Treatment Procedures: Perform various treatment procedures such as wound care, catheter care, central line care, and specialized therapies. Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on their specific treatments, medication regimens, potential side effects, self-care techniques, and symptom management. Job RequirementsRequired Associate Of Nursing ADN, Diploma, BSN Registered Nurse: AZ, Basic Life Support - CPR Cancer Chemotherapy Provider, within 6 - months Preferred One (1) year experience in an ambulatorytreatment unit, PACU phase I, and/or critical care unit. and Previous experience withChemotherapy/Biotherapy administration.
