SummaryOperator 1 Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00/ Hr. Position will start in Oxnard, CA then must be willing to relocate to Henderson, NV January 1, 2027 As the largest machine tool builder in the western world, we need world-class talent in all of our departments. Oh, and yes, we are the same Haas that owns the Haas Factory Racing Team, and Haas F1 Team from the Netflix series: Drive to Survive. Operator 1 operates CNC or manual machines while supervised. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Follow safety requirements within the department. Follow daily and weekly schedules. Find, read & follow work instructions displayed electronically (iPad). Find basic diameters and dimensions on a blueprint. Correctly load and unload parts. Use precision measuring instruments to verify part integrity. Maintain machines (oils, coolant, filters, and cleanliness). Must be able to operate both powered and non-powered material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jack, cranes, and mobile straddle stacker lift. Employees must report any damage to a supervisor or manager. Employees are expected to follow instructions, procedures and to escalate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc. Employees must exhibit honesty and integrity as well as demonstrate adherence to rules, procedures and policies. Preferred Major Other Minimum Years of Experience 1-3 years Language Skills Must have the ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and safety rules; such as work instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Mathematical Skills Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. May need to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs. Reasoning Ability Must have the ability to apply common sense and understanding in order to carry out written, oral, and/or diagram instruction forms. Must be able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
