Position Description: We are looking for a dedicated Senior Payroll Processor for our Skilled Nursing Facilities ( SNF ) in Valley Stream, New York. This is a full-time, in-person position, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm Qualifications of the Senior Payroll Processor: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in healthcare. Proficiency with payroll software (ADP, Paychex, or similar). Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll tax laws and regulations. Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail. Experience with multi-state payroll processing Responsibilities of the Senior Payroll Processor: Process bi-weekly payroll for employees accurately and on time. Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Calculate and process garnishments, deductions, and benefits. Prepare and file quarterly and year-end payroll tax returns. Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies. Respond to employee payroll inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
