Serve Those with Limited Access: Be part of a team that provides crucial care to patients with limited healthcare access. Safe & Convenient Location: Enjoy working in a safe, business-friendly area with dining and shopping options within a mile of the practice. Job Details: Provide personalized care to adult and geriatric patients, including conducting referrals and handling sick visits. 1:1 Provider to CMA/LPN Ratio: Work closely with dedicated medical staff to ensure efficient patient care. Conduct E-Visits via MyChart, accommodating patient requests for virtual consultations. Telehealth Visits scheduled based on patient symptoms, transportation needs, or personal preference. Perform Point of Care (POC) testing, including A1C, PT/INR, U/A, Flu, Strep, COVID, Glucose, and Spirometry. Each patient is scheduled for 15-30 minutes, ensuring ample time for comprehensive care. Manage patient call-ins for inquiries (only for providers within the location), with minimal call responsibility (phone calls only). No walk-ins ensuring a structured schedule and minimizing disruptions. About the Area: Colonial Heights is part of Virginia s Tri-Cities which includes Petersburg, Hopewell and the surrounding counties of Dinwiddie, Prince George, Surry and Sussex. Steeped in history it is has convenient access to several major highways. A 23 mile drive north will take you to Richmond the Commonwealth capital of Virginia or continue for another 80 miles to visit our nation s capital Washington DC. Williamsburg is located 60 miles to the east and the Virginia beaches are 90 miles to the southeast. Historic Petersburg is a short 5 minute drive. Petersburg's Old Towne district consists of antique galleries, boutiques, craft shops, restaurants, cafes, and a mix of renovated residences.
