The Federal Account Executive for Civilian Services is pivotal in driving revenue growth by establishing strategic partnerships and uncovering opportunities within U.S. federal civilian agencies. This role thrives on understanding agency needs and delivering innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and public service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Manage a diverse portfolio of federal civilian agency accounts. Craft and implement comprehensive, multi-year account strategies that align with agency missions and modernization initiatives. Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities within civilian agencies. Oversee the entire sales cycle, from initial opportunity identification to contract award. Establish strong relationships with program managers, contracting officers, and technical stakeholders. Navigate various civilian acquisition vehicles such as GSA MAS, Schedule 70, and more. Collaborate with system integrators and partners to enhance joint business pursuits. Maintain accurate forecasting and opportunity tracking through CRM. Work closely with internal teams including sales engineering, marketing, legal, finance, and customer success. Represent the company at industry events, forums, and agency briefings. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred). 5+ years of sales experience within the U.S. federal civilian market. Proven track record of selling to civilian agencies with a quota-carrying responsibility. Deep understanding of civilian agency procurement processes and acquisition timelines. Experience in leveraging federal contract vehicles and partner ecosystems. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including executive-level presentations. U.S. citizenship is required. Preferred Experience: Previous roles in pre-sales, consulting, or customer-facing technical positions. Experience selling SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, data, or enterprise IT solutions. Established relationships with key federal civilian agencies such as DHS, HHS, and others. Familiarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST 800-53, and relevant compliance standards. Experience in supporting digital transformation, cloud migration, and zero trust initiatives.
