Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Our client near Durham, NC is seeking a full time Physician Assistant to join their orthopedic team. This provider will treat patients in an ortho urgent care setting, working alongside an established team. Candidates with orthopedic experience are required. Responsibilities: Full time permanent position Monday-Friday hours 12:30p-7:30p Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments Diagnose conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and laboratory tests Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients Prescribe medications and recommend non-surgical treatments such as physical therapy or rehabilitation Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Perform injections Fracture care Qualifications: North Carolina State license Knowledge of orthopedic surgery, treatments and terminology Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems Base salary plus production Full benefits package 401k Medical, dental, vision options PTO CME
