Job Summary Perform a wide range of duties to troubleshoot, maintain and repair simple and complex production and facility equipment. Maintain the highest degree of efficiency possible for the Albertville Facility. Ensure safety is the first priority. Essential Functions Install, program and troubleshoot PLC's and HMI's. Calibrate instrumentation and controls. Plan electrical maintenance projects and determine manpower/material needed. Calculate electrical loads to determine size of connectors and switchgear. Design and modify electrical circuits to meet the demands of the plant. Perform routine preventive maintenance on instrumentation with limit supervision. Read and understand advanced electrical schematics and interconnection diagrams/drawings, including pneumatic systems. Participate in the planning of projects. Implement electrical electronic and pneumatic control schemes. Meet the Company's general requirements for safety, attendance, productivity, quality and team relations. Troubleshoot and maintain plant automation equipment. Other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications Required Knowledge of Ethernet and Device Net communication protocol Experience with power distribution systems. Experience in project planning. Preferred High School Diploma or equivalent, prefer an Associate's degree. 5 years' experience in electrical and instrumentation field. Environment Moderate to heavy physical efforts equivalent to frequently lifting or moving average to heavy weight parts or materials over 70% of the time. Extended walking and standing. Audiovisual capabilities of speech, vision and hearing with continuous mental and visual attention performing diversified operations or activities requiring constant alertness. Wear PPE as required. 40 hours per week work schedule with overtime occasionally. Work environment includes heat, cold, dust and noise.
