This role involves diagnosing issues, ordering parts, writing detailed reports, and maintaining equipment standards. Key Responsibilities: Uphold and promote the Kirby-Smith vision and core values of teamwork and unified goals Conduct field repairs and maintenance with minimal supervision Diagnose equipment problems accurately and perform repairs according to guidelines Plan and manage the sequence of repairs Model and promote safe work habits in compliance with safety protocols Minimize rework by adhering to established guidelines Be available for overnight stays near job sites when necessary Complete necessary paperwork efficiently and on time Attend training sessions as required Maintain service vehicles in optimal condition and clean Conduct regular vehicle and safety inspections Demonstrate professionalism and build strong customer relationships Adhere to attendance and punctuality standards Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent Ability to communicate effectively in English Minimum of two years' experience in diagnosing and repairing construction equipment Proficient in reading complex hydraulic and electrical schematics Possess and maintain a personal set of tools, as well as any special tools required by the company Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and stay overnight when necessary Valid driver's license; CDL if required Physical Requirements: Capable of pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 100 pounds Ability to squat, twist, turn, bend, stoop, climb, and reach overhead Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions and handling typical job site hazards Physically able to perform maintenance tasks for extended hours Adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) policies This position is classified as Safety-Sensitive.
