As a Tax Preparation Specialist at H&R Block, you will be part of an expert team that provides you with comprehensive tax training. Conduct interactive tax interviews with clients in-person and through virtual channels, including video, chat, and email. Prepare thorough and accurate tax returns for clients. Drive business growth by enhancing client retention and presenting additional products and services. Provide clients with support related to IRS inquiries. Collaborate with team members to achieve office goals and priorities. Continuously advance your tax knowledge and expertise. Preferred Qualifications... Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field. Experience in customer service or in a retail environment. Proven track record of thriving in a dynamic, supportive setting. Availability to work a minimum of 25-35 hours per week during tax season, with potential for up to 40 hours during peak weeks. Your Contributions to Our Team... Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with virtual communication tools. Strong communication skills in-person, over the phone, and in writing. Compliance with all IRS and applicable state regulations. Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Why Work with Us?
