Join our innovative Career Consulting team at Mercer, where your expertise will play a vital role in shaping executive compensation strategies. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring at least three days per week in the office or with clients, and will be based in locations such as Los Angeles, CA; Seattle, WA; Chicago, IL; Houston, TX; Dallas, TX; Atlanta, GA; New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Washington D.C.; Boston, MA; and Louisville, KY. As an Executive Compensation Consulting Analyst, you will collaborate closely with clients to design and implement executive compensation programs that align with their business objectives and governance standards. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside senior executives, Board members, and HR leaders to enhance executive pay and incentives, ensuring consistency with organizational goals and market best practices. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting in-depth research and analysis on executive compensation trends, governance, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Collecting and analyzing data relevant to executive pay programs, including benchmarking compensation levels and incentive plan design features. Assisting in the preparation of presentations for Board and Compensation Committee meetings. Participating in client meetings and contributing to discussions regarding executive compensation topics. Facilitating knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the executive rewards practice. What you need to bring: Bachelor's degree. 12 to 36 months of experience in a consulting firm or corporate role, ideally in executive compensation, total rewards, or finance. Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities. Familiarity with data analysis, project management, and presentation design. A thirst for intellectual growth and a drive to apply critical thinking to solve complex problems. A collaborative spirit with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams. Flexibility to thrive in high-pressure environments and adapt to evolving client needs, especially in M&A situations. Superior organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. What sets you apart: Advanced proficiency in Excel. Background in finance or accounting. The base salary range for this role is $75,500 to $151,000, with additional performance-based incentives. Salaries are determined based on individual experience, skills, education, and location.
