Pharmacist Floater

Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Floater Pharmacist, where you'll provide vital pharmaceutical services, including filling prescriptions, offering patient counseling, and supervising pharmacy technicians. Responsibilities Foster collaboration among team members to ensure an excellent customer experience and a welcoming shopping environment. Deliver friendly and efficient customer service, demonstrating genuine care and respect in every interaction. Comply with all local, state, and federal health codes and regulations. Interpret and accurately enter physician prescriptions into our computer system. Oversee pharmacy technicians in filling prescriptions and provide necessary information. Provide comprehensive patient counseling on medication side effects, administration, and interactions to ensure patients understand their medication regimen. Consult with prescribers on drug therapy appropriateness. Follow established efficiency and accuracy standards while filling prescriptions. Administer immunizations following defined protocols. Deliver direct patient clinical services, including medication therapy management and patient coaching. Maintain thorough patient profiles to ensure continuity of care. Monitor inventory to maintain optimal service levels. Perform daily operational tasks as directed by the pharmacy manager. Adhere to department policies and best practices to ensure smooth pharmacy operations. Uphold compliance with HIPAA privacy regulations. Ensure adherence to merchandising, labor control, and safety regulations; report any illegal activities, including theft or fraud. Follow food safety and sanitation procedures as per health regulations, and report unsafe conditions to management. Be prepared for physical tasks including lifting/moving objects up to 25 lbs and standing for extended periods. Be flexible and ready to work at multiple locations as required. Ability to perform the essential functions of this role with or without reasonable accommodation.
