These settings may include single or multi-family homes, assisted living facilities, independent living environments, or memory care units. Your responsibilities will include evaluating and treating patients with various speech and language impairments, including motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication difficulties, and voice disorders. You will work closely with patients recovering from strokes and those experiencing progressive diseases such as Parkinson's and dementia. Qualifications Must possess a valid state driver's license. Must have automobile liability insurance. Seat belts must be worn at all times while driving. Dependable transportation in good working condition is required. Must be able to drive in all weather conditions. Current licensure as an SLP in the state of employment is required.
