Role Overview: We are seeking a Vendor Partnership Manager to join our Payer Retrieval HIH Team. In this crucial role, you will be the primary contact for some of our largest vendors, facilitating effective meetings, analyzing inventory data, and collaborating with internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of the Payer industry, a proven ability to solve problems efficiently, and exceptional skills in fostering trust with both internal and external partners. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the main point of contact for our most complex vendors, effectively representing Datavant in all meetings and communications. Lead vendor meetings to review status updates on inventory, ensuring alignment on priorities and performance expectations through proactive follow-ups. Analyze dashboards and inventory data to provide forecasts, set priorities, identify risks, and propose effective strategies to achieve client goals. Manage daily vendor relations, effectively juggling multiple projects and urgent escalations. Proactively evaluate project timelines, collaborating with vendors to adjust course and meet delivery deadlines. Track project deliverables, reporting results to leadership and other teams regularly. Monitor vendor performance, providing weekly updates and escalations regarding gaps or concerns to leadership. Drive continuous improvement by engaging in the creation and documentation of effective processes and procedures. Oversee efforts to enhance chart retrieval performance from vendors, ensuring targets are consistently met. Coordinate payment reconciliation with vendors, working closely with Accounts Payable to ensure timely payments. Maintain ownership of project inventory and ensure efficient scheduling execution. Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and deliver comprehensive inventory management files to vendors. Be accountable for achieving department KPIs related to inventory management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field is preferred. 2-5 years of experience in Healthcare Technology, Medical Records, or Health Information. Previous experience in account management or operations for healthcare services or health plans is preferred. Understanding of Risk Adjustment and Healthcare/Health IT is essential. Familiarity with project management principles relevant to account support is important. Demonstrated problem-solving, decision-making, and goal-executing skills. Ability to build rapport and trust across the organization and with clients. Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective data presentation. Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities to anticipate vendor needs. A motivated, detail-oriented team player. Preferred Attributes: Project Management coursework or PMP Certification.
