This unique opportunity allows you to provide essential Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments nationwide, supporting those who have served. With flexible scheduling, competitive compensation, and a dedicated support team, this role offers a rewarding and flexible clinical experience that makes a difference. Key Responsibilities: Conduct interview-based Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across multiple locations. Perform physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing. Complete exams independently in your own office or at designated sites within specified travel radius. Submit timely reports and addendums following exams, with administrative follow-up as required. Maintain compliance with all credentialing, certification, and training requirements. Required Skills: Board certification or active license in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or related general medicine specialty. Experience performing medical assessments, preferably in a VA or military-related setting. Strong interview and physical assessment skills. Excellent organizational and report-writing abilities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Valid state medical license and DEA certification. Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience with Compensation & Pension evaluations. Background in military medicine or veteran care. Familiarity with VA systems, MHS, or related medical documentation. Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Minimum of 2 years post-residency clinical experience. Previous experience conducting C&P exams is highly desirable. Other Requirements: Ability to work on a PRN basis, with flexibility to perform half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts. Willingness to travel within specified geographic areas; travel costs included in pay rates. No prescribing or treatment responsibilities; exams are interview and physical assessment-based only. Immediate credentialing and onboarding process. No bill rates, with pay structured as flat rates per exam type.
