Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic Credit Operations Manager to join our team. This role is integral to our operational success and will work closely with the Sales Manager as a key leader. The Credit Operations Manager will carry out a variety of tasks directed by the General Manager, ensuring that our branch operates safely, professionally, and profitably. You will play a crucial role in meeting our company's objectives, maintaining quality standards, and following company policies. Principal Accountabilities Acquire and maintain customer relationships to drive business growth. Act as a liaison for customers, emphasizing the importance of timely rental and lease renewals. Assist in managing staff, overseeing the activities of one or more team members. Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations. Review and prepare store reports for analysis and decision-making. Document customer commitments systematically. Ensure adherence to company standards for renewals, delinquencies, and collections. Complete necessary paperwork for corporate support submissions. Follow monthly marketing strategies and uphold internal quality control standards. Manage customer accounts effectively. Oversee inventory and cash management practices. Develop daily work schedules, delivery schedules, and assign tasks while enforcing company policies. Perform all other duties as needed for efficient store management. Requirements for Credit Operations Manager Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail. Proven skills in collections and customer service. Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written. Able to handle multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously. Proficient in learning and utilizing POS systems. Maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts effectively. Skilled at planning, organizing, delegating, and coordinating tasks and assignments. Adept at recognizing and solving problems promptly. Must possess good navigational skills and maintain a satisfactory driving record. Regular and consistent attendance required, including potential nights and weekends as needed. Education and Experience Minimum of two years of experience in the Rent-to-Own industry, retail, or other sectors focused on customer service, account management, sales, and merchandising. General Physical Requirements This position involves physically demanding tasks such as lifting, loading, and moving merchandise weighing between 50-300 pounds. Additionally, you should be able to perform tasks that may include stooping, bending, pulling, climbing, reaching, and carrying items up and down multiple flights of stairs. The role may require prolonged periods of driving and standing, as well as working in various indoor and outdoor conditions.
