In this pivotal role, you'll leverage advanced actuarial techniques and statistical analysis to refine our insurance premium and pricing strategies. Your insights will be crucial in evaluating claim trends, driving profitability, and enhancing client satisfaction. Become part of our Trusted Advisor initiative as you collaborate with clients and sales teams to share impactful analytical insights. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of strategic client studies and presentations that yield valuable insights for management decisions. Create engaging presentations and analyses using actuarial methods to address insurance premiums, claim trends, and healthcare economics. Provide critical actuarial support to market underwriters by sharing insights on client risk factors and industry trends. Manage multiple projects efficiently, ensuring high-quality deliverables are met within deadlines and keeping your manager updated on progress. Utilize strong communication skills to present complex data in an understandable manner, facilitating effective decision-making for team members and executives. Perform other duties as necessary to support organizational objectives. Education Required Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience as determined by the company. Experience Required Minimum of 5 years experience in Healthcare Underwriting or Actuarial practice, including at least 1 year of direct client interaction. Licenses or Certifications Required Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA). Skills Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Self-driven with a proactive approach to addressing client and management needs. Travel Required 0% - 25% Working Conditions This is an office-based position with regular interactions across various work sites; occasional travel may be necessary.
