Description Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) Welcome to the next generation of senior living. The Springs at Murrayhill is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) with a direct-care background to join our Health Services team. This role is ideal for a current or former Medication Technician or Resident Services Coordinator who understands hands-on care, clinical workflows, and the realities of supporting residents and caregivers in a senior living environment. Role Summary The Resident Services Coordinator plays a critical role in coordinating resident care and supporting the Health Services department. Working closely with the community nurse and caregiving team, the RSC helps ensure care plans are followed, changes in condition are communicated clearly, and residents receive consistent, high-quality support. This position requires prior direct-care experience in senior living, hands-on caregiving or medication administration experience or similar. Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for residents and their authorized representatives regarding care coordination Communicate changes in condition and care plans to nurses, med techs, and caregiving staff Monitor and follow up on charting, care notes, and communication logs for accuracy and completion Coordinate resident appointments with physicians and outside healthcare providers Support service planning, care transitions, and ongoing care coordination Assist with staffing coordination, scheduling adjustments, and coverage as needed Provide day-to-day leadership support to caregivers and medication technicians Ensure documentation and processes meet regulatory and company standards Required Experience & Qualifications To be considered, candidates must have: Previous experience as a Medication Technician or Resident Services Coordinator in senior living Hands-on experience supporting resident care in Assisted Living or a similar setting Strong understanding of care workflows, documentation, and team communication Ability to work comfortably with electronic health records and care management systems Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Clear, compassionate communication skills with residents, caregivers, and leadership Preferred Qualifications Experience working closely with nurses or Health Services leadership Familiarity with care coordination, service planning, or care transitions Demonstrated leadership or lead caregiver/med tech experience Benefits & Perks We invest in our team members and support long-term growth: Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Short and long term disibility coverage 401(k) with retirement planning support Paid time off Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) Career coaching and leadership development classes Scholarship opportunities Employee discounts New Directions Employee Assistance Program (EAP) A supportive, mission-driven culture with room to grow Additional Requirements: Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening Why The Springs Living?
