Paving Estimator

Paving Estimator I am seeking an experienced Paving Estimator with a strong background in MDOT projects for one of my clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on key projects in the MSOT paving domain. Key Responsibilities Prepare precise estimates for various MDOT and paving projects. Bid on hard surface work, including flatwork, road widening, repairs, and repaving. Estimate costs for parking lot improvements and crack sealing jobs. Review project plans, specifications, and quantity takeoffs to ensure accuracy. Collaborate effectively with project management and operations teams. Support preconstruction planning and develop bid strategies to enhance competitiveness. Preferred Experience Experience with MDOT bidding and compliance is highly valued. A solid background in paving and roadway estimating is essential. Experience with site packages or wet utility infrastructure is a plus but not required.
