Position Overview: We are looking for a meticulous and knowledgeable Senior Accountant to oversee the monthly close process for all US entities. This pivotal role ensures the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of our financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily operations of the general ledger accounting team to ensure efficient month-end close activities, encompassing cost allocation, elimination entries, and reconciliations. Drive enhancements in the month-end close process through automation and standardization initiatives. Prepare and record journal entries, account reconciliations, and analyze discrepancies. Conduct thorough analyses of financial statements to uncover trends and opportunities for improvement. Ensure all transactions comply with US GAAP, recorded timely and accurately. Perform accounting research and support as needed per US GAAP. Enhance and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Develop and implement financial systems and controls that meet organizational needs. Assist in the creation of financial statements and management reports. Collaborate effectively with teams across departments (e.g., FP&A, Accounts Payable, Payroll) to guarantee accurate financial data. Facilitate the annual external audit process, coordinating with auditors and preparing necessary documentation. Carry out any additional tasks as required. Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting is preferred. CPA certification is required. Experience with NetSuite and Alteryx is a plus. A minimum of 2 years of progressive accounting experience in a Public Accounting Firm. Prior experience with SAAS or software clients is advantageous. Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control frameworks, with experience in implementing new accounting policies. Focus on process improvement and automation is essential. Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills with great attention to detail. Able to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills; experience in leadership or mentoring is a plus. Organized, self-managing, and a team player. Location: This position is remote but requires working East Coast or Central Time hours.
