In this role, you will transport a variety of goods and materials from one location to another (during the summer, mostly bulk sealer deliveries). You will plan the most efficient route, ensure adherence to delivery schedules, and perform routine vehicle inspections. The ideal candidate has experience driving trucks and makes safety a number one priority. We sell pavement sealer and all the tools and equipment to go with it. This is an industrial setting where you may get dirty from time to time while pumping sealer to offload the truck. The ideal candidate is friendly, not afraid to get dirty, and reliable.ResponsibilitiesPick up materials and goods in one location and transport to another location.Perform routine safety inspectionsPlan the safest and most efficient routes of travelAdhere to delivery schedulesMaintain detailed driving log, including work periods, rest periodsComply with all company policies and driving lawsAttend trainings to maintain up-to-date skills and knowledgeQualificationsPrevious experience as a Truck Driver is requiredValid commercial driver’s license (CDL Class A with tanker endorsement)Graduation certificate from trucking school is preferredFamiliarity with GPS systems and ELDsUnderstanding of all relevant truck driving laws and regulationsClean driving recordAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningWillingness to travel regularly and drive long distances
