Securitas USA's core business is security services. Job Description Respond to a wide range of emergency situations including fire, medical emergencies, and hazardous materials incidents. Quickly assess each scene and communicate vital information to the central dispatch center and on-duty supervisor. Engage in rescue operations, including vehicle extrication and various types of specialized rescues. Carry out fire suppression activities utilizing a variety of fire extinguishing equipment. Address hazardous material emergencies with effective spill containment measures. Provide immediate medical assistance, assessing patient needs and facilitating transport to an onsite clinic when necessary. Relay important patient information to medical personnel, ensuring continuity of care. Administer appropriate treatments for injuries per established medical protocols. Conduct triage during mass casualty scenarios. Perform standard security responsibilities, including unlocking doors, escorting visitors, and patrolling properties. Prepare necessary documentation and reports as required. Other related duties as assigned. Requirements N.F.P.A. Firefighter 1 and 2 certifications are mandatory. Certifications in Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations Level. National Registry or State of Indiana Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certification is required. Out of state certifications must be transferable to Indiana within 90 days of hire. Must consistently meet local certification standards for Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Emergency Medical Responder (EMR). Physical and mental requirements include the ability to see, hear, speak, and write clearly, as well as perform tasks such as kneeling, crouching, and climbing. Frequent lifting of 10 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds is required.
