Join our team in Santa Cruz, CA! We are seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician and Residency Program Instructor to contribute to our new Family Medicine Residency starting in July 2024. This is an exciting opportunity to practice academic family medicine while serving our diverse patient population. Salary Range: $190,000 to $277,000 Key Responsibilities: Lead and teach within a community-focused residency program Supervise resident continuity panels and deliver bedside and clinic-based instruction Contribute to didactic curricula and evaluate trainee performance Engage in quality improvement and population health projects Blend in-person and remote care, focusing on direct patient encounters Requirements: Board-Certified Family Physician, licensed and in good standing in California Experience in community or public health settings preferred Background in mental health, chronic pain, and chronic disease management is a plus Strong commitment to preventive care and patient empowerment Collaborative team player within a Care Team model Availability for at least one evening per week and up to six Saturday clinics annually (no call duties) Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Plans 401K This role is ideal for clinicians seeking meaningful continuity in practice, leadership within a multidisciplinary team, and the chance to shape the next generation of community clinicians.
