Summary of Job Description: The FSQA Manager - Multi Concepts is crucial in ensuring the quality and safety of ingredients at Panda Restaurant Group. This position involves developing and implementing food safety programs, policies, and procedures specifically designed for Multi Concept categories. Key Responsibilities: Lead a comprehensive risk-based supplier food safety audit program, coordinating both internal and external audits to ensure suppliers adhere to Panda's food safety standards. Build strong partnerships with Multi Concept teams to promote effective food safety practices. Enhance food ingredient safety by creating and executing robust food safety programs. Work closely with Supply Chain Management to expand the supplier network while ensuring all products meet safety standards. Analyze performance metrics from supply chain partners and suppliers, identifying areas for improvement in Multi Concept categories. Investigate ingredient safety issues and support claims for credits when products fall short of company specifications. Provide guidance and training to supply chain partners on continuous improvement practices to reduce food safety risks. Collect and evaluate feedback related to food safety and regulatory compliance, collaborating with partners to address any concerns. Regularly update the Quality Assurance manual, incorporating food safety policies, standards, processes, and guidelines for suppliers and partners. Your Background & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Meat Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field is required. 5+ years of experience in Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) within food processing or auditing environments, with progressive management roles and familiarity with GFSI standards. Communications experience is preferred but not mandatory. Must obtain a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment. Completion of annual store training is required if hired. Pay Range: M2: $112,500 - $158,000 / Annual. Note: Individual pay within this range is determined by various factors, including work location and experience.
