Structural Steel Project Coordinator A leading Steel Fabricator and Erector is looking for a Project Coordinator to join their dedicated team. This company specializes in providing high-quality fabrication services throughout the Pacific Northwest, including Alaska and Hawaii, and serves notable markets such as commercial, industrial, aerospace, and entertainment. In this role, you will manage steel projects valued between $500k and $50M. Key Responsibilities: Lead all phases of structural steel projects from planning through to successful completion. Conduct site visits, work closely with engineers and architects, and manage timelines and budgets effectively. Ensure adherence to all safety standards and industry regulations. Review project plans and maintain a high standard of quality throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, and vendors to foster effective communication and coordination. Qualifications: At least 7+ years of experience in the structural steel industry. Familiarity with project management software such as Tekla, Fabtrol, Microsoft Project, and Primavera. Strong knowledge of structural steel projects, construction materials, building codes, and relevant industry standards. A proven ability to develop detailed project plans, monitor expenses, and manage project schedules. Exceptional communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
